Everyone wants a one size fits all approach to business professional workwear. We think it has to be boring, but that is not the case! Here are some fun and unique ways to style your business professional workwear!

Depending on the day, weather, my mood, or what events I have going on that day, my workwear is constantly changing. Yes, I wear the typical fitted dress with nude heels and a black blazer, but I also wear bright orange pants, and glittery blue jumpsuits.

"What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language." -- Miuccia Prada

Now before I start, I have to say that every single business and employer is different so I would always look at your specific companies workwear policies. These should be available in your Employee Introduction Packet or by asking your HR Dept.

With that said, I love business casual or business formal outfits that take a risk. My top recommendation for you is to get some formal business pieces, like black dress pants, a good pencil skirt, and nice blazers. But also, find some statement pieces to pair with it.

Mixing a bright pair of pants with a white cowl neck makes the look come together with both a professional feel with a show of your personality. People choose brands and friends because of the way they make them feel. Do you feel stale and boring through your wardrobe or do you make them feel comfortable and excited because you are comfortable in your own look?

I also suggest taking a look at what type of function you need in your look. Is it a casual brunch, or is it a formal dinner? Is it a client meeting or a day catching up on reports?

But my #1 tip for finding great pieces for your business casual wardrobe. Make sure it feels like you, Make sure it will be comfortable to be in for long periods, and that you feel confident and beautiful in it.
